CLIENT AGREEMENT
Website Project Agreement
This agreement explains how Books and Brews handles website projects, payments, revisions, timelines, and ownership before work begins.
1. Project Scope
Each website project is based on the package, features, pages, and details agreed upon before work begins. Any additional requests outside the original scope may require additional fees.
2. Payments & Deposits
A deposit may be required to secure the project and begin work. Final payment is due before the website is launched, transferred, or delivered in full.
3. Refund Policy
Because website work is custom, payments are non-refundable once work has started. If a project is canceled before work begins, refund eligibility may be reviewed at Books and Brews’ discretion.
4. Revisions
Reasonable revisions are included during the project. Major design changes, repeated direction changes, or new feature requests may be billed separately.
5. Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate business information, content, photos, and service details.
- Respond in a timely manner to keep the project moving.
- Confirm that any provided images, logos, text, or materials may legally be used.
6. Timeline
Estimated timelines depend on project size, client feedback, and content delivery. Delayed responses or missing materials may extend the completion date.
7. Ownership
After full payment is received, the client owns the completed website files or final delivered website. Books and Brews may show completed work in its portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Hosting, Domains & Third Parties
Websites may use third-party services such as hosting, domains, forms, payment processors, analytics, or email providers. Books and Brews is not responsible for outages, pricing changes, policy changes, or service interruptions caused by third parties.
9. Limitation of Liability
Books and Brews is not responsible for business losses, lost revenue, missed leads, downtime, technical issues caused by third-party platforms, or damages related to use of the website.
10. Acceptance
By submitting a quote request, approving a project, paying a deposit, or continuing with services, the client acknowledges and agrees to these project terms.
